I highly recommend Rob and Dance PreHab! After having PT at another clinic, I appreciated Rob's holistic approach to healing injuries and preventing future injuries. His knowledge of the dancer's body and the unique challenges that dancers face were extremely valuable. After 6 weeks of PT, I'm back dancing- couldn't be more grateful to Rob for his help.

After working with Rob, I understood my body in a completely new way. He helped me discover the imbalance of strength I had between the two sides of my body. His program is very personalized and catered to help you become the strongest dancer you can be. I have seen great improvements with my range of motion and strength after beginning the exercise plan Rob created just for my needs. Rob is extremely knowledgeable and is so passionate about helping dancers get stronger. I am so glad to have gone to Danceprehab because I am now a stronger, healthier, and more confident dancer!

My 11 year old daughter started coming to work with Dr. Rob since Feb. Dr. Rob gives a very thorough evaluation, every movements and stretches were measured. Based on the numbers, Dr. Rob provided her with a tailor made training program that kept her interested and engaged. Each set of exercises are targeted different areas. My daughter loves these exercises because they are fun and engaging. Dr. Rob will point out how the exercises are related to different dance movements, also pointing out which muscles to engage. She is now more aware of the relation of her body and movements. Recently we had a re-evaluation and we are witnessing the growth in strength, agility, control and range of movements in the 4 months period. We can also see the improvement during her ballet classes, she better jumps, more balance and more confident when dance en pointe. Dr. Rob is by far the best physical therapist we ever worked with.

Not sure where to begin. There are so many wonderful things to say about Rob. First and foremost , his ability to connect with patients through movement and healing is incredible. Rob's vast dance vocabulary helped our daughter not only gain confidence in her ability to heal but he was literally "speaking her language" which other PTs were unable to do with her. Additionally, we are incredibly grateful for his methodology of transferring dance related concepts into therapeutic processes, ultimately getting our girl back to dance after multiple disc herniations in her lumbar spine. We also love that he gave her the mental clarity to achieve her recovery goals. He allowed her to acknowledge her mental resistance to challenges, while coaching her to change her mindset around that resistance - giving her the platform to explore therapeutic movement. We highly recommend Rob to any dancer or anyone who would like to experience physical therapy - outside the norm!

Over 15+ years of training, including dancing in NY, LA, and London, Rob is one of the best physical therapists that I have had the good fortune of working with. I came to him to address shoulder, back, and knee issues I was having after taking time off during COVID, as well as chronic problems that I haven’t been able to resolve with other practitioners. The intake and evaluation process is excellent - Rob took his time to make sure he had a complete understanding of my history and my needs (unfortunately not the case with every PT!) I left each session with a simple and clear plan to work on until the next session, and found that my injuries improved rapidly. As I transitioned back to full strength, Rob was able to adapt the sessions to a strength and conditioning experience, helping me prepare for overhead lifts in ballet pas de deux. I’ve struggled with shoulder problems, joint damage, and surgeries since 15, so being able to press a person’s weight overhead easily and without pain was amazing! Rob is knowledgeable and positive to work with, making sure that I was comfortable and engaged with my own treatment at every stage. More than this however, he is curious about his patients experience, and always willing to tinker with treatments to make sure that it works for each of us. Check out his IG @danceprehab! I’m a stronger and better prepared dancer thanks to Rob, and I will definitely go back to him for any PT or conditioning needs in the future.

Rob is hands down the best physical therapist I have gotten to work with (of many in both LA and NY). Extremely intentional and attentive (from his initial intake questions to every subsequent session), endlessly creative with his programming, and the most compassionate towards the entire well-being of his patients/students. As a professional level dancer, I appreciated getting to work with (and learn from) a fellow dancer who deeply understands the functional as well as cultural aspects of the dance worlds. Rob's always eager to think through new approaches or conditions around my training schedule, and even served as an impromptu partnering and pirouette coach during my sessions. He's a gifted communicator (highly recommend checking out his IG @danceprehab for some quality content), and I so wish I'd had the opportunity to work with him as a student, because those prehab sessions look super fun, and EVERY young dancer needs a health professional to help look after their conditioning, recovery, and physical/emotional health. If that's not enough, I traveled 3-4 hours roundtrip from LA each week just to see him, and it was absolutely worth it! Thanks Rob!

Rob is the best. He works with the dancer as an individual and their overall health, physical and mental. Every dancer needs Rob in their training.

Doing physical therapy and training sessions at DANCE|PREHAB has been life changing. As a dancer, it is so difficult to find physical therapist that understand everything that goes into dancing. That’s why it was so refreshing to go to DANCE|PREHAB. I love being able to work on exercises that directly correlate with my dance training as well as having effortless conversations about translating the things we work on in therapy into the studio. The training sessions have helped me work on functional strength to improve my dancing, while also giving me confidence in a gym setting, (as in lifting weights and such), which I never received through my dance training. I’m so happy I found DANCE|PREHAB.
