Physical Therapy for Knee & Thigh Pain
What’s missing in your knee rehab?
Knee pain in dance is rarely just about the knee. At DANCE|PREHAB, we are often addressing the pieces above and below it, along with the positions and movement demands that rehab needs to actually prepare you for.
Book A Free Discovery CallWe are often looking above and below the knee, especially at ankle strength in bent-knee positions, because better force absorption does not come from the knee alone.
For many dancers, knee hyperextension is an important part of line and performance demands. We do not treat that reality as irrelevant.
There is “proper alignment” for technique, and dance will then ask for more. We assess how the knee handles pliés, fourth position, turnout, and other dynamic shapes dance will require.
