Physical Therapy · For Dancers & Performing Artists

Healing that understands the demands of your art.

A detailed assessment, a clear plan, and care built around what your body actually needs to return to training, performance, and sustainability.

DANCE|PREHAB — As Dancers, We Know The Details Matter

As dancers ourselves, we know the details matter.

Our own years in studios, on stages, and in the clinic continue to teach us that your pain as a dancer is unique to you and your demand. Technique, choreography, and performance schedules all change what we look for and how we treat it.

That’s why every session at DANCE|PREHAB considers how you actually train, so the plan we build back to the stage still holds up once you’re there.

DANCE|PREHAB — Things You Won’t Hear From Us
What We Won’t Say

Things you won’t hear from us.

Dance culture has a long history of dismissing pain. We’re working to change that, one conversation at a time.

“Just stop dancing.”

We don’t ask you to give up the thing that defines you. We look for a path that keeps you moving, even while healing.

“Push through it.”

Dancing through pain has long been treated as a sign of dedication. We don’t ask you to prove your commitment by ignoring what your body is telling you.

“You’re fine, it’s normal.”

Pain in dance is common, but common doesn’t mean it should be dismissed. We take what you’re feeling seriously, even if it doesn’t show up on a scan.

DANCE|PREHAB — Care That Begins By Listening

Care that begins by listening to your story.

Dancers and families often tell us we treat the whole picture, not just the injury. We see the artist, the training schedule, and the pressure to get back on stage.

Through detailed movement assessments, manual therapy, and progressive strength and loading built around your technique, we help you understand what’s actually driving your pain, and build a path back to full training with confidence.

Discovery Call

A real conversation about your injury. What’s been going on? What have you tried? No commitment required. You leave with clarity on what’s driving your pain and a clear path forward built around your goals.

02
Evaluation & Assessment

What Our Community Says

Coming back to performing in my 30s was daunting. Working with Rob gave me a renewed confidence and trust in my body I hadn’t felt in a long time. He truly helped bridge the gap of making what I learned in PT sustainable — something I was missing from every other program I’d tried.

From the first consultation I felt heard, understood, and validated. Instead of standard exercises, he provides solutions within the movement itself — it feels like an extension of my dance training. After 4 months of not dancing, I am finally back in the studio.

I appreciate the athletic approach to rehab, the understanding of my goals as a dancer and artist, and the empathy toward my needs as a human. Dr. Claire has given me information that will influence my approach to training and dancing long into the future.

Rob guided my daughter physically and mentally through two injuries to come out stronger. He helps dancers develop short and long term goals in a healthy, meaningful way. We are forever grateful.

Not only was this a physical healing process — Dr. Claire supported my daughter mentally. For her this was a whole body and mind recovery. We cannot thank the team enough.
