Expert Vestibular Physical Therapy in Laguna Hills, CA
Dizziness, vertigo, concussion symptoms, and balance disruptions don’t have to sideline you. At DANCEPREHAB, our Doctor of Physical Therapy-led vestibular rehab programs are built for dancers, performing artists, and active humans who need precise, one-on-one care — and a path back to full performance.
When Dizziness Keeps You Off the Stage
Vestibular symptoms — dizziness, spinning, brain fog, balance loss — don’t just affect your body. They interrupt your training, your performances, and your confidence in your own movement.
Generic Care That Misses the Mark
Most clinics treat dizziness as a standalone symptom. They don’t understand how vestibular dysfunction affects a dancer’s pirouettes, spotting, or spatial orientation — leaving you with exercises that don’t translate to your art.
Told to Stop Dancing and Wait
You’ve been handed rest instructions with no return-to-performance plan. No timeline. No progression. Just a vague “see how you feel” — and a season of uncertainty while your peers keep training.
Symptoms That Keep Coming Back
Head pressure after rehearsal. Nausea mid-combination. Balance that feels “off” for weeks after a concussion. When the root cause goes untested, the symptoms cycle back — and the frustration compounds with every setback.
Why Laguna Hills Chooses DANCEPREHAB for Vestibular PT
DANCEPREHAB is built differently. Our vestibular physical therapy programs combine research-grade testing — including Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex (VOR) testing, Vestibular Balance Assessments, and oculomotor visual tracking therapy — with a full hour of undivided, one-on-one care from a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is also a former dancer.
- Objective vestibular testing (VOR, balance assessment) — not guesswork — so your care plan is built on real data from the first visit
- Therapists who are former dancers and performers, fluent in movement demands and trained to modify activity rather than remove it
- Ongoing communication with your teachers, directors, and family between sessions — because healing a vestibular condition takes a coordinated team
“For the first time in a very long time, I feel like someone is looking at my body as a whole rather than simply treating individual symptoms. I have gained mobility, strength, awareness, and most importantly, a significant decrease in pain.”
Your Path Back to Balance — Three Clear Steps
Step 1: Book a Free Discovery Call
Start with a complimentary 15–20 minute call with one of our DPTs. No commitment, no pressure — just a real conversation about your vestibular symptoms, your movement history, and whether DANCEPREHAB is the right fit for you.
Step 2: Receive Your Full Assessment
Your comprehensive evaluation includes vestibular balance testing, VOR assessment, strength and range-of-motion screening, and a detailed movement quality review — all in one uninterrupted hour with your Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Step 3: Train, Rehab, and Perform
Your personalized vestibular rehab program is designed to keep you moving — modifying activity rather than halting it. You’ll progress through habituation exercises, oculomotor therapy, and neuromuscular re-education on a clear timeline back to full performance.
Conditions We Treat with Vestibular Physical Therapy

- Orthopedic injuries across the spine, hip, knee, foot & ankle, and shoulder that frequently co-occur with vestibular or neurological complaints in performing artists

“His approach is incredibly integrative, educational, thoughtful, and kind. His approach of first helping my joints regain mobility and then teaching my muscles to activate, stabilize, and work together again has made a tremendous difference. I have gained mobility, strength, awareness, and most importantly, a significant decrease in pain.”

“He truly understands dancers and the unique demands they place on their bodies. He took the time to talk directly with my daughter about how her body feels while dancing, helping her become more aware of her movement patterns. She left saying, ‘Finally, someone who understands dancers and knows what they’re talking about!’”

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before your first vestibular PT visit at DANCEPREHAB.
Do I need a physician referral to start vestibular physical therapy at DANCEPREHAB?
In California, you do not need a physician referral to begin physical therapy for up to 12 visits or 45 days — whichever comes first. You can book your free 15–20 minute discovery call directly with us, no referral required. If your condition requires collaboration with your physician, we’ll initiate that communication on your behalf.
Does DANCEPREHAB accept insurance for vestibular physical therapy?
We operate on a self-pay and out-of-network model. This means you receive a full, uninterrupted hour with your Doctor of Physical Therapy — no aides, no double-booking. We provide superbills you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and we accept FSA and HSA payments. Many patients find this model delivers significantly better outcomes and value than in-network alternatives.
What if I’m not in the Laguna Hills area — can I still receive vestibular PT care from DANCEPREHAB?
Absolutely. We offer virtual and hybrid physical therapy solutions for dancers and active humans throughout Southern California, out-of-state, and internationally. Options include an in-person evaluation followed by virtual sessions and periodic in-person progress visits, or a fully virtual consultation with coordination to your local providers. Distance doesn’t have to be a barrier to expert care.
